A native of Mississauga, Ontario, Stephanie grew up surrounded by a family of boys, making forts, catching bugs and escaping the raucousness with solitary arts and crafts. She was attracted to the tactile in objects, such as pussy willows, yarn, and her pet bunny's chin. Stephanie earned a B.A. in Science at Queen's University and a Diploma in Fashion Design (because she likes knowing how things are made.)
