Perfectionist, mess-maker and dreamer by nature, Liz is inpired by the process of creating. Experimenting, opening to the flow and finding the beauty in imperfection are the driving forces in her work. She believes that wild and wonderful things happen when you surrender and allow the natural unfolding that enlivens the process of making.
Originally from a tiny town in the Conneticut River Valley, Liz received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. While in school, she was awarded a thesis year of independent study and living in Rome as part of RISD's Honors program, an experience that continues to inform her life and work. She came to styling after working at Martha Stewart where she discovered her love of hunting for props and making pictures. Since that time she has styled photographs, made custom set pieces and developed crafts, content, and photographic direction for clients including Target, Macy's, Kate Spade, CB2, Real Simple, Martha Stewart, Cartier, Schumacher, and Domino. She strives to bring a fresh perspective along with thoughtfulness and play to the projects and images she creates.
She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York
