Born in Seoul, South Korea, Hannah‘s design sensibility was incubated at the intersection of clean-lined minimalism and Wabi-sabi imperfection. After her family’s relocation to London, her silversmith mother and jeweler father continued her immersion in art both classical and cutting-edge, at home and abroad. Hannah‘s love for traveling and exploring different cultures led her to study English and French at University, until her realization that her passion was rooted in the visual rather than the lingual.
She cut her teeth at London’s ES magazine, working in fashion before heading up their interiors section. Hannah then went on to become a senior style editor and associate stylist for ELLE Decoration UK. Since being there, she has continued to hone a distinctive narrative style that is equal parts innovative and imaginative. She thrives on being fully immersed in the creative design process.
On the rare Sunday that finds her curled up in her couch rather than on an airplane seat, Hannah relishes one of her favorite little luxuries: cracking open the first page of a new book with her Bengal cat, Miumiu.
